2008 Lesson Schedule

 

Larry and Rae will be teaching at the Des Moines Ballroom Dance Studio (2745 Douglas, Des Moines, IA) (here's a map) on Monday nights and Sunday afternoons.  Classes on Monday nights are from 7:00 to 8:30 with the lesson from 7:00 to 8:00 and a "guided practice" from 8:00 to 8:30.  Classes on Sunday afternoon are from 12:00 noon to 1:00 with a "guided practice" from 1:00 to 1:30.  A 4 week series of classes is $35 per person or $55 per couple.

 

June

There will be no Sunday Classes in June.

Want to learn some fun and exciting aerial moves?  The next three weeks (June 16th , 23rd, and the 30th you can learn Aerial Basics from Megan and Kevin.   If you miss the first one, come to the next.  It is not a progressive class.  7-8:30. 

 

July

Sunday, July 6th, we will start a four week class from 12-1:30 teaching Beginning Swing.  What a great time to start dancing.

Monday, starting July 7th, continuing for a four week class, we will be teaching Charleston.  What a fun and easy dance to learn!   7-8:30. 

 

August

Sunday, August 3rd, continuing for a four week class from 12-1:30 we will be teaching Intermediate Swing.  What a great time to learn some new moves. 

Monday, starting August 4th, continuing for four weeks we will be teaching Footwork and Fancy Moves.  Learn how to add some pizzazz to your swing dancing with footwork variations and fancy moves.   7-8:30.
