There are quite a few motels around the Merle Hay Road exit within two blocks of I-80.  Here's a few. Try your favorite online travel store for the best rates.  Here's the one I use.  YTB Travel

Days Inn Merle Hay   515-278-5511    On the phone they said $69 for two people, $79 for four people.  I found a price online of $51 for two people.  Go figure.

Ramada Inn Waterpark   515-278-0271   Yes, a waterpark in the hotel.  4 free passes with room booking.  Just off the interstate on Merle Hay Road.  This is the hotel a lot of people stayed at last year.  Renovations are done.  $89 a night for two queen beds.  Might be cheaper online.

Super8 Motel    515-270-1037   Just off Merle Hay Road.   $69/night or $62/night with AAA discount.
