First Saturday Swing Dance
The first Saturday of every month Step Into Swing will bring a different theme to our swing dance at the Des Moines Ballroom Dance Studio, 2745 Douglas, Des Moines. The dance will be from 8-11. $5 gets you in the door. Munchies and soda provided.
Thursday Night Swing Social
Join Step Into Swing every Thursday night from 8-10:30 at Java Joe's in Downtown Des Moines for the Thursday Night Swing Social. It's free and very low pressure. Come sit and watch or dance all night. Swingin' jazz and blues will be played all night. We offer "Random Dance Lessons" throughout the evening. Come on and check it out. Club 76
Dance Club 76 is a non-profit organization for the enjoyment of ballroom dancing and the recreation it provides. Dances to a DJ are held monthly, generally the second Friday night, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
All events are held at the Dixon American Legion Hall, 68th Street and Douglas Avenue, Urbandale, Iowa, unless noted otherwise.

Every Sunday evening Lake Robbins Ballroom hosts an excellent big band. Each week offers a different band. Normally, 6-10pm and $7 admission. Known as the ballroom with the best dance floor in Iowa.

Omaha Jitterbugs
Jitterbugs' Night Out is held upstairs at the Eagles Lodge on 24th & Douglas, every Friday night! Doors open at 7:30, and then the evening starts at 8:00 p.m. with a beginning swing dance lesson (no partner required). The DJ spins their tunes until midnight.This event is smoke-free, alcohol-free, and all ages. Alcohol is available from the bar downstairs. Dressing sharp is strongly encouraged, as is bathing.
